The MACROMEC has been developed in response to industry feedback indicating the need for a more reliable product that is easier to install.

The MACROMEC removes legacy operational issues such as mechanical and electrical installation failures, prohibits the ingress of moisture into the MECCA circuit and greatly improves the data flow between the downhole instrument and the operator’s console. It is a system capable of being installed, recovered and reinstalled multiple times.

The STS MACROMEC is revolutionary upgrade of the legacy Modular Electrically Connected Cable Assembly (MECCA) system that allows electrical connectivity between a downhole instrument and an uphole computer. This product is an STS propriety MACROMEC Assembly.

Twin-core cable, monocoque housing, interference-fit connectors, integrated earthing.
